Tyson Marumbwa

Tyson Marumbwa is a Manufacturing Engineering expert and a Change and Transformation leader with a deep love for systems and people. He has nine years of industrial experience in manufacturing operations, plant and asset care, as well as team leadership across the mining equipment, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, and Pharmaceutical industries.

 

Tyson holds an Honours Degree in Production Engineering and a Masters Degree in Manufacturing Systems and Operations Management. He is a business and people leader with qualifications in Business Development and Leadership, Sales and Marketing, Agility and Change Management, World-Class Manufacturing, Pension Fund Management, and HIV & General Wellness.

 

Together with his team, Tyson was celebrated as one of the "Global Top 6 Most Improved Efficiency Sites" in Unilever in 2023 in the Nutrition category, among other numerous business awards related to plant availability and reliability, output, and cost savings throughout his career.

 

Tyson is from a rural Chirumanzu village and currently resides in Harare, Zimbabwe. With his wife Portia, Tyson is a proud father to Nieshe and Niasha, who both love revving cars, spinning spanners, holding hammers, spraying lubricants, and watching TV.
