Michael Meehan

Mike is a reliability professional with over 40 years of experience as a maintenance technician, supervisor, field service engineer, trainer, reliability engineer, and manager. His career in maintenance and reliability began in the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion program and additional Navy experience with their Performance Monitoring Teams, which used predictive maintenance technologies to keep submarines in optimum condition.

After retirement, he has worked in semiconductor and scientific vacuum, HVAC, solar manufacturing, cargo and medical specialties packaging and protection, electrical apparatus and motor repair, window manufacturing and steel processing. Mike is a Certified Reliability Leader, and Certified Maintenance Manager.

Mike now works as a freelance trainer and consultant in maintenance and reliability. In his spare time, he is the Past Base Commander for U.S. Submarine Veterans, Inc. USS Toledo Base, and likes to spend time with his family, dogs, and parrot.
