Brady acquires Italian manufacturer Modernotecnica

Brady Corporation, a world leader in identification solutions, announced January 3 that it has acquired wire-identification manufacturer Modernotecnica SpA of Milan, Italy. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Modernotecnica serves the MRO market and manufactures wire-identification products used primarily in the electrical industry by panel builders and electrical installers. Its products include wire markers, electrical signage, name plates and face plates, cable management accessories, and software and printers used in wire marking. The company, founded in 1940, employs 44 people and has annual sales of approximately $15.5 million (U.S.).
