Vesta Partners LLC, a professional services firm specializing in maintenance management and SAP enterprise asset management (EAM) technology services, announced July 15 that it has completed the acquisition of EAM Consultants B.V., a leading European maintenance management and SAP EAM consulting firm headquartered in The Netherlands.

The acquisition of EAM Consultants allows Vesta to capitalize on the synergies between the two EAM consulting firms and accelerate its international growth strategy to serve existing and future client needs.

EAM Consultants, which will be renamed as part of a rebranding/transition strategy that will be rolled out in the fall, has provided asset management and SAP EAM consulting services since 2006. The firm was founded by Walter Wijnands and Jan Hop, with a vision of capitalizing on their backgrounds and experience in using SAP as the enabling tool for maintenance and reliability optimization.

“It is with great pleasure that we announce the acquisition of EAM Consultants. The two firms are alike in so many ways that it makes our coming together a perfect fit,” stated Mike Maiolo, senior partner and president of Vesta. “We now have the ability to support our existing customers’ enterprise-wide initiatives as well as capitalize on new global opportunities.”

The similarities between Vesta and EAM Consultants extend from the maintenance management expertise they possess to the SAP EAM solutions they provide. Both firms share the same vision and core values of delivering industry best practices in maintenance management with a practical and systematic approach to implementing SAP EAM solutions.

“We are excited to become part of the Vesta team,” said Wijnands, managing director of EAM Consultants. “Vesta and EAM Consultants are strong complements to each other and we are thrilled about the opportunities this acquisition has created for us in the marketplace. We look forward to combining our knowledge and expertise to deliver a greater value proposition to our clients.”
