Certified as CMRP since 2012 and certified as CAMA since 2016.
In 1986, I began my professional career in the maintenance and reliability area. I have had the opportunity to work for companies in the oil & gas, mining, and manufacturing sectors. I also had the chance to work in the most challenging environments like the jungle (wet and rainy), mountains (over 5 000 m.a.s.l.), desert (temperatures around 40°C), and offshore platforms.
Since 2009 I started to develop training on maintenance and reliability subjects specially about the SMRP Maintenance and Reliability Body of Knowledge.
I have developed trainings activities in Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, and Dominican Republic. So far by now, I have developed around three hundred training activities with circa four thousand hours.
I have written 72 articles about maintenance and reliability issues in Spanish and English which have been published on different magazines. Five of them were published in the SMRP magazine “Solutions”.
In 2013 and 2016 I was presenter in the 21st and 24th SMRP Annual Conferences in Indianapolis and Jacksonville, respectively.
As SMRP volunteer, I am Member at Large from SMRPCO for 2021 – 2023, Member of Membership Committee for 2022 – 2023, SMRP – LATAM Committee member 2020 – 2023. Previously, Chair for the SMRP International Symposium Committee for the 2018 – 2021 period.
