Manufacturing and engineering of wind towers

Discovery Channel recently featured FARO in a documentary series called "Shades of Green". This series educates the public on high-tech manufacturing and engineering of wind towers. To demostrate this, we see how two companies, ATI Casting Service and Creative Foam, use a variety of FARO solutions to develop products such as wind blades and hubs. Similar to the aerospace industry, the wind power industry requires tight tolerances which are all achieved using FARO technology.
