GE adds six new company officers

On December 28, GE announced the appointment of six new company officers. GE currently has 189 GE officers globally. GE officers lead large revenue generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.

GE also announced that GE Officer Jeff Bornstein has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Bornstein is currently the Chief Financial Officer of GE Commercial Finance located in
Norwalk, CT.

Below is the list of GE’s six new officers:

Darren Alcus, 44, is vice president and general manager of the Commercial Finance business within Healthcare Financial Services and has been with GE for more than 16 years. Prior to his current role he was managing director of GE Corporate Financial Services’ asset securitization group. Alcus obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration from
Duke University and graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.S in Economics in 1985.

Jan Dewitte, 43, is vice president of services- international at GE Healthcare and has been with GE for more than eight years. Prior to his current role he was general manager for services- international and general manager for global quality & six sigma. Dewitte obtained his Masters degree in Management & Engineering from K.U.L. Leuven in
Belgium and graduated from Harvard University with a MBA in Marketing and Operations Management in 1993.

Richard di Benedetto, 45, is vice president of sales-
Europe, Middle East and Africa at GE Healthcare. Prior to his current role Richard was general manager for sales & services in Eastern Europe and manager for Healthcare Financial Services- Europe. Prior to his 12 years at GE, Richard di Benedetto was an operations manager for Econocom in France. He graduated from Institut d’Etudes Poliques Paris in France with a B.S. in Economics, Finance and Law in 1986.

Xavier Durand, 43, is vice president and general manager for GE Money in
Western Europe, and has been with GE for more than 12 years. Prior to his current role, Durand was CEO for GE Money France, DOMS and Belgium and held various commercial leadership roles in both GE Money Europe and the Americas. Durand graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris in 1986, and from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausses in 1988 with a major in business.

Michael Kriedberg, 46, is vice president of the Bank Loan Group at GE Commercial Finance and has been with GE for more than 16 years. Prior to his current role, Kriedberg was chief risk officer for Aviation Financial Services and executive vice president & manager of structured finance. Kriedberg obtained his Masters degree in Accounting from
Pace University in New York and graduated from Albany State University with a B.S. in Economics in 1983.

Jody Markopoulos, 36, is vice president of sourcing for GE Energy and has been with GE for over 14 years. Prior to her current role, Markopoulos was general manager of sourcing at GE Energy and general manager of quality at GE Energy. Markopoulos graduated from
Clarkson University in New York with her B.S. in Engineering in 1993.
