RP news wires, Noria Corporation

Infor on June 1 announced the closing of two acquisitions, Hansen Information Technologies and Workbrain Corporation. The acquisitions continue to move Infor to the forefront of the enterprise software industry, adding a focused offering to local government through Hansen, and significantly bolstering its presence in human capital management through Workbrain. With the addition of the acquired companies, Infor continues to deliver on its strategy of filling a gap in the market by providing, through acquisition and innovation, solutions built specifically for the markets it serves.

“Infor delivers what the other software providers cannot – solutions built by experts that are specific to a company’s needs, regardless of the size of their business,” said Jim Schaper, chairman and CEO of Infor. “Workbrain and Hansen customers join the ranks of our growing customer base, which benefits from our global reach, scale, and solutions that were built to lower total cost of ownership.”

Workbrain brings industry-leading workforce management solutions to Infor’s strong Human Capital Management (HCM) portfolio, which includes a full complement of human resource management and talent management applications. The combination expands Infor’s existing offering to help companies manage their work force through automation of other business areas such as time and attendance, scheduling, absence management and work force planning, and gives it a comprehensive suite of HCM solutions.

The addition of Hansen establishes Infor as a leading provider of enterprise applications for local government and municipal entities. Infor’s public sector offering now includes Human Capital Management (HCM), Revenue Management, and Enterprise Asset Management for public-sector organizations of all sizes.

Infor provides applications that run virtually every aspect of a business, from enterprise resource planning to the supply chain, customer relationship management, workforce management, performance management and financial systems.
