MRG and ReliaSoft launch FMEA template collection

RP news wires, Noria Corporation

Management Resources Group Inc. (MRG) and ReliaSoft Corporation on May 31 announced that they will jointly offer MRG’s comprehensive Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) template library – now available to clients through ReliaSoft's Xfmea and RCM++ software. The FMEA templates can help clients maintain asset health and assist them in building lasting organizational reliability strategies.

MRG’s FMEA library currently consists of more than 230 detailed component level templates and is a continually growing library of FMEA templates. Each template in the collection acts as a guide to assist in identifying, assessing and addressing equipment failure modes and includes a comprehensive analysis of the functions and failures of each component at the class/subclass level. The FMEA library also suggests the controls necessary to prevent those failures in the future. The templates are a convenient, time-saving tool for any organization looking to improve asset health or improve asset management practices at the plant or enterprise level.

ReliaSoft's Xfmea and RCM++ software packages facilitate analysis, data management and reporting for FMEA, FMECA and RCM analyses. The software supports all major published standards (such as AIAG FMEA-3, SAE J1739, MSG-3, SAE JA1011/1012, etc.) and provides extensive customization capabilities for analysis, data management and reporting, thus allowing one to configure the software to meet the organization's specific analysis and reporting needs. When using the FMEA Accelerator (http://www.ReliaSoft.com/fmea) to access MRG’s FMEA template collection, the software makes it easy to search for and import the data needed. FMEA Accelerator facilitates analysis and data management, and provides a complete array of print-ready reports, graphical charts and custom queries.
