Lockheed Martin employees recognized for engineering leadership

Seven engineering professionals from Lockheed Martin have been recognized for their achievements in shaping the future of science, technology and engineering. The employees were named Modern Day Technology Leaders and were recognized at the Black Engineer of the Year Awards conference, held in Baltimore, Md.

"We are very proud of the accomplishments of these outstanding individuals," said Marina Williams, Lockheed Martin's director for diversity, inclusion and EEO. "Their passion for innovation and dedication to our customers are the foundation of our success. We applaud these employees and congratulate them on earning this prestigious honor."

The winners from the Washington, D.C., area are:

  • Channing Corley, senior network engineer, Rockville, Md.
  • Gil Dussek, computer systems architect, Herndon, Va.
  • Tia Furr, senior systems engineer, Greenbelt, Md.
  • Ashish Kejriwal, information systems analysis manager, Gwynn Oak, Md.
  • Rakesh Patel, staff systems integration analyst, Chantilly, Va.
  • Gregory Roberts, information sharing campaign chief, Herndon, Va.
  • Khalilah Wilkinson, systems engineer, Greenbelt, Md.
