Keystone RV Company, the industry's largest manufacturer of towable RVs, expects to hire up to an additional 200 employees later this fall as it acquires a new 140,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Goshen, Ind.

According to Keystone RV Company president and CEO Ron Fenech, the new plant is needed in order to keep up with demand as the company continues to gain market share.

"The past year has been challenging for everyone involved in the RV industry,” says Fenech. "However, Keystone is in the fortunate position of growing our business and preparing for continued improvement in the overall market. This new facility will allow us to run two production lines. And very soon you will hear about other moves we are making to dramatically improve our lead times for delivery of models to our dealers.”

The new Keystone facility located at 2639 Lincoln Way East (U.S. 33) will manufacture several of the popular selling Keystone travel trailer and fifth-wheel brands.

Keystone RV Company's retail market share has grown to more than 22 percent during the past year and the company sees this trend continuing. Keystone executive vice president Bob Martin says Keystone is prepared for the future. According to Martin, "By adding facilities and staff now, Keystone dealers and customers will have the RVs they want when they need them. Even during the industry downturn, we were investing heavily in our existing brands. Over the next six months, our dealers will love where we are heading with our products.”

Keystone's many RV brands are the most recognizable names on the highway. These include: Montana, Cougar, Outback, Springdale, Raptor, Residence, Retreat, Passport, Hornet, Sprinter, Laredo, Everest, Challenger, Big Sky, Mountaineer, Fuzion, VR1, X-lite and Bullet.
