WIKA Instrument Corporation (WIKA) is the first recipient of “Continuous Improvement Award” from Parker Veriflo. The presentation was made at Parker's First Annual Supplier Day. The award was presented to WIKA as appreciation and acknowledgement for their efforts with the UHP pressure gauge supply chain project.
The “Continuous Improvement Award” solidifies WIKA's commitment to improving and establishing customer satisfaction through all available channels. According to Jeff Christian, sales and marketing manager, “Customer satisfaction is of the upmost importance to WIKA and receiving this award cements WIKA's dedication to their customers.”
The conversion project came about when Parker requested ideas for ways to lower costs as a continuous improvement initiative. After choosing to convert to the 230.15 UHP gauge model, Parker saw a double-digit percent cost savings. Dr. Thomas Fritz, senior director of UHP, stated, “It remains the first goal of WIKA's UHP Center of Excellence to meet all customer requirements for product needs, applications and customer processes.”
Parker Veriflo, a leading manufacturer of precision valves, regulators and surface mount components for the control and application of liquids and gases, is a WIKA customer. WIKA customer service recently earned the “Operational Excellence Award for Leadership” from another top industry client.
