The Corporation for Manufacturing Excellence (Manex) received a prestigious National Institute of Technology and Standards (NIST) award for achieving significant breakthroughs in providing enhanced services to national and local manufacturers for increased competitiveness. Selected from more than 1,500 Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) company and individual candidates nationwide, the Hayward, Calif.-based business was honored at the 2006 NIST MEP National Conference being held May 21-25 in
NIST recognized Manex for delivering the vision, relationship development and delivery capability to create growth for national and local manufacturers and value to the MEP system. MEP is a nationwide network of consulting resources focused on enabling manufacturers to compete globally, supporting greater supply chain integration and providing access to technology for improved productivity.
