In conjunction with its 150th anniversary, the Klein Tools contest randomly selected participants to win prizes. Participants entered by visiting Klein Tool’s Web site at (www.kleintools.com/truck) from October 15, 2007 through March 30, 2008. The top prize winners are:

• Elizabeth Garner, Spring, Texas, the first-place winner of $1,000 retail value in Klein Tools products.

• Erin Zieroth, Oak Forest, Ill., the second-place winner of $500 retail value in Klein Tools products.

“At first I was in disbelief when I heard from Klein Tools. I’ve never won anything big before, so I was shocked and surprised,” said Jena.

In addition to the top prize winners, the contest randomly awarded 24 weekly prize packages of select Klein Tools anniversary gear that included hats, shirts, key chains, coasters, cards and beverage tools. Klein also held a monthly drawing that awarded six winners special edition Journeyman 150th anniversary tools.

“With more than 56,000 entrants, the ‘Great Klein Tools 150th Anniversary Extravaganza’ was a great way to acknowledge loyal customers who have contributed to our success in the past 150 years. We were able to reach out to a new, expanding marketplace of potential customers through multiple channels with an exciting, integrated promotional campaign,” said Abby Ceppos, associate director of marketing, Klein Tools.
