On April 1, GE’s Oil & Gas business announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Hydril Pressure Control from Tenaris.
Hydril Pressure Control is one of the world’s leading suppliers of pressure control equipment used in the oil and gas drilling industry, with a special focus on deep and ultra-deepwater applications. Its product lines include Blowout Preventer (BOP) systems, parts, and repair and field services to maintain its installed base of products.
The business is headquartered in Houston, Texas and employs over 750 people globally, who will join the GE Oil & Gas team of 10,500 professionals operating in more than 70 locations worldwide.
