Cleaver-Brooks on January 10 has introduced a new initiative called the Energy Saving Solutions (ESS) program. The program encompasses both products and services specifically aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing energy costs and reducing emissions for its customers and the industry as a whole.

Through this program, Cleaver-Brooks plans to be the “go-to” source for facilities looking to adopt energy-saving and environmental solutions. The mission of the Energy Saving Solutions program is to serve the industry with products and services that deliver significant and quantifiable energy savings while lowering environmental impact and cost of ownership.

“Cleaver-Brooks has embarked on this initiative as part of our commitment to the advancement of our customers and the industry,” said Welch Goggins, president and CEO of Cleaver-Brooks. “The program’s core strategy includes cutting-edge equipment, training programs, engineering support, system audits and equipment services, all the essential elements to create a successful and beneficial program for the industry.”

This program will help customers take advantage of the technologies developed as part of the Super Boiler research and testing to reduce fuel costs by 30 percent to 40 percent. This includes reducing parasitic costs by 12 percent to 15 percent through energy saving enhancers such as advanced controls, blowdown heat recovery equipment, feed water accessories, stack economizers and high-efficiency, low-emission burners.
