Maintenance services firm UNICCO acquired for $408M

Leading engineering and services company United Group Limited on September 25 announced it has completed the acquisition of UNICCO Service Company for $408 million.

United Group and the companies that make up its 21,000 strong personnel in the property sector, including UNICCO, are well placed to service multinational clients who are demanding global corporate real estate and facilities management solutions. United Group now has a total of almost 30,000 staff in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America, and parts of Europe and the Middle East.

Boston-based UNICCO has more than 18,000 employees in North America and offers facilities maintenance, operations, cleaning, lighting and administrative/office services for corporate and multi-tenant office, education, retail, government and public venue facilities, as well as plant services in support of industrial operations.
