Advanced Technology Services Inc. (ATS), an industry leader in managed production equipment maintenance, industrial parts repair and innovative IT solutions, announced recognition by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) as one of the world's top 100 outsourcing service providers for 2007.
ATS's appearance on the Top 100 list comes in conjunction with the company's announcement of three new clients: NACOM, a division of the Yazaki Group, a Japanese automotive Tier 1 company; Carlisle Industries, a diversified global manufacturing company serving the construction materials, commercial roofing, specialty tire and wheel, power transmission, heavy-duty brake and friction, heavy-haul truck trailer, refrigerated truck body, foodservice, and aerospace and test and measurement industries; and, O'Neal Steel, the largest privately held processor and distributor of steel and specialty metals in the United States.
"It is an honor to be named to the Global Outsourcing 100 list for the second year in a row," said ATS president Jeffrey Owens. "To be recognized on an international level for our services to the manufacturing industry and our commitment to make factories run better, directly reflects our core values as well as our dedication to and partnership with our customers. We are proud to be recognized by the IAOP once again, as well as to have increased our standing in the rankings from last year."
Companies included on the list come from around the world providing the full spectrum of outsourcing services including information technology and business process outsourcing, facility services, real estate and capital asset management, manufacturing, and logistics.
Companies on the list were ranked according to 18 criteria, including revenue growth, number of employees, the skills and training of their workforce, the number of technical and business certifications they have secured, the track record of their management team, and the quality of customer service. The rankings, selection process details and company profiles of all the Top 100 Global Outsourcing service providers appeared in a special advertising feature in the April 30, 2007 issue of Fortune magazine.
