Ludeca Unveils New Balancing Device

Ludeca Inc. recently unveiled a new portable measurement tool to help users balance plant equipment in difficult situations. The VibXpert II Balancer is a lightweight device used for field balancing of rotating machinery in one or two planes.

The balancer is designed to make balancing simple with its intuitive and easy-to-use graphical interface, which leads the user through the balancing procedure step by step. Its large color display facilitates the presentation and interpretation of the balancing data. A variety of balancing methods can be selected, and built-in ISO tolerances alert users when the equipment is within specification.

In addition to its balancing capabilities, the VibXpert II Balancer features vibration analysis capabilities to support the diagnosis of unbalance and other types of equipment defects.
