Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) announced that Mark Ruby has joined the company as vice president of its Reliability Consulting Group. He is responsible for managing strategy, growth and operations for the Reliability Consulting Group, which helps public and private enterprises improve performance by implementing Reliability Excellence (Rx) best practices in work processes, organizational effectiveness, equipment reliability and information management systems.
Ruby has more than 20 years of financial and operational experience in manufacturing environments within multiple industries. Prior to joining Life Cycle Engineering, he was a senior vice president of finance and general manager for The Robert Bosch Corporation. During his tenure with Bosch, Ruby was responsible for large plants in both the U.S. and Mexico that were widely recognized as benchmarks for lean implementations. Prior to his 10-year career at Bosch, he held finance and controller positions with Argo-Tech Corporation and the BF Goodrich Company.
Mark received a bachelor of science degree in finance from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Akron. He is also a certified assessor for the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Business Excellence Model.
