Spirax Sarco was recently presented a Commendation of Excellence award by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce for exemplary top safety records at its two sites in Blythewood, South Carolina.

"Receiving this award from the Chamber of Commerce is a great honor," said Kris Brown, Spirax Sarco's safety environmental and training supervisor. "This is proof of everyone's dedication to improving our safety culture."

The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce recognized business leaders and employees from across the state at its annual Safety Awards luncheon. The awards were given to companies and organizations that achieved a commendable lost workday case rate during the 2014 calendar year. This included any occupational injury or illness that resulted in an employee being unable to work a full assigned work shift.

A leader in steam system management, Spirax Sarco provides a broad range of fluid control products, engineered packages, systems expertise and site services for its diverse range of more than 100,000 industrial and institutional customers.
