Don't forget to take notes when testing your electric motors

PdMA Corporation

When performing tests on your electric motors, you might be tempted for the sake of time to wait until later to write down comments associated with the condition of the asset or surrounding environment.  Although we all think we have a memory like a steel trap, the reality is that this vital information, critical to performing a proper analysis of the data, will be forgotten in whole or at least in part by the majority of us after we have tested more motors in the same day or week.

Also, for those using the MCEGold software, the last diagnostic note entered in the Message Center for an asset can be automatically pulled into the Detailed Report templates to save time in the report writing effort. For more detail on the MCEGold software, visit www.pdma.com/PdMA-MCEGold.php.
