Wright Mfg. leaning on lean to survive downturn

Wright Manufacturing in Frederick, Md., runs on a lean manufacturing system where machinery is not produced until ordered. The equipment company, founded by president and CEO Bill Wright, plans to survive the lean economy as well. "I am convinced that Wright Manufacturing can handle an economic slowdown or even a recession," said Wright.
