GreenWood Inc. recently reached major safe work hour milestones across several maintenance and capital construction projects. Over its nearly 17-year history, the company has performed significantly under the incidence rate of OSHA recordable cases and lost-workday cases based on national averages of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). GreenWood’s project work includes continuous construction and maintenance support, total plant maintenance and capital projects for industrial clients.

Specifically, the following projects have reported:

Merck & Company – Elkton, Va.: No OSHA lost-workday case ever over a 16-year project history totaling more than 3.3 million work hours.

Dow Chemical Company – Institute, W.Va.: No OSHA lost-workday case ever with more than 1,200,000 work hours in five years.

Cognis Corporation – Charlotte, N.C.: More than 16 years without a lost-workday case and no OSHA recordable injury/illness in six years.

Mitsubishi Polyster Films – Greer, S.C.: No lost-workday case ever and no OSHA recordable injury/illness in more than four years and 500,000 work hours.

BASF Corporation – Enka, N.C.: No OSHA recordable injury/illness ever in the project’s history over seven years and 250,000 hours.
