Eight participants (high school teachers) built an FMS system for manufacturing peanut butter cups. The system is built out of 4 Lynxmotion AL5D robotic arms (one equipped with a custom vacuum end effector), a rotary table, Fischertechniks control software and equipment, chocolate syrup, peanut butter cups, a lot of problem solving and even more patience. The entire process from conceptualization to successful execution took about eight hours.
