Optimation announced that the company has accumulated more than 1 million consecutive hours worked without a lost-time incident, a milestone that was roughly 20 months in the making.

For any company in construction, maintenance and manufacturing, reaching 1 million hours without lost time is a difficult feat. Bill Pollock, Optimation president and CEO, hails employees’ commitment to safety as the main ingredient for this accomplishment.

“There are very few groups of employees anywhere who take safety as seriously as those at Optimation,” says Pollock. “Al Manzer and the safety committee provide guidance but it takes training and diligence to accomplish a milestone like this. We are very proud of the Optimation team.”

Optimation was also recently recognized for its accomplishments in safety and quality by Eastman Kodak Company.
