Connecticut company turns to lean manufacturing

It's been six years since Orange Research Inc. began employing lean methods meant to remove inefficiencies. This meant physical changes to the layout of the manufacturing floor – creating work cells making a whole product, instead of scattered assembly stations that wasted time.
