Westex placed mannequins with 100 percent cotton, poly-cotton blends and non-flammable cotton uniforms in front of typical industrial panels, induced arc flash explosions. The hot copper vapor and flames cause instant ignition of cotton or cotton-poly uniforms. The flames spread too fast for anyone to stop, drop and roll to extinguish the burning cloth.
