The award is a comprehensive assessment of a maintenance organization’s processes and performance against a world-class standard. Awards are presented to plants on the basis of their maintenance department’s ability to provide capacity assurance for operational excellence in the areas of organization, work process and materials management. The award will be presented to the Marion plant on January 14.

Harley Freshour, maintenance supervisor, says, “We are extremely proud to be identified as a recipient of this award. The entire Marion plant is very focused on executing our maintenance strategies. Everyone here realizes that machine reliability is the foundation for consistently delivering outstanding customer service.

Baldor’s Marion plant will be the 21st recipient of the NAME award since it was founded in 1990.
